
Training for today's organizations needs to be both
an employee development tool and reward for today's skilled labor.
Educational facilities such as universities are doing
a fine job at making sure individuals have the technical training for
specific jobs. Our organization has focused on adding to this education
by teaching skills not commonly discussed in a formal class environment.
We are teaching people how to communicate more effectively,
and how to foster interpersonal work relationships. Our training helps
individuals become involved in personal development and the development
of coworkers. We do all this with the focus on team leadership.
The Training Experience
Our training starts with an interactive classroom environment.
In this portion we teach practical skills that can be integrated into
the workplace to improve team processes and develop team leadership.
Through immersion into real life scenarios team members then practice
the recently developed skills. During the scenario they will be practicing
the skills taught in the class environment. Our scenarios involve the
use of safe but exiting off-road machines in a wilderness terrain that
will test your new found abilities and help you to rely on your team
to finish the task. You will be building your skills as a team in a
truly unique, exciting, and memorable way.
Programs
A full program runs three days 8am to approximately
7pm. We encourage teams to break the training up and take one training
day a week for three weeks. A one-day program is also available. Continental
breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Programs can be scheduled
any weekday Monday through Thursday. We can accommodate small teams
approximately 8 or larger groups made up of multiple teams approximately
24 persons. Accommodation for larger teams could be arranged if necessary.
Our full program consists of three days
of offsite training and one half-day onsite consult within a month of
training to help your team further institute the new found skills into
the workplace. Our team development package is designed to help transfer
the training to your work place.

Mini program for small companies is
designed for organizations where the owner of the company also plays
a role as the manager/leader and works directly with staff. In this
environment it is important to have proper communication skills and
safe open feedback. Small companies can have increased turnover, which
can be very expensive. In small companies employees often have larger
areas of responsibility in proportion to the organization and can have
considerable impact on organizational performance. Creating an environment
where employees feel they are safe to express their opinions openly
and take ownership of responsibilities can improve moral, create commitment
and align employees to organizational vision.
This training is ideal for dental offices, small medical
offices, and any small organization that works closely together to provide
clients with products or services. Group size of 5 or more is most effective.
Some smaller companies could also combine with another small company
to increase group size (can be coordinated with our staff).

We at ABI Team Leadership have focused on developing
training that has the greatest potential to allow the learner to transfer

Participants
This experience is designed for all participants regardless
of physical abilities. Our training incorporates a number of different
experiences, as teams are made up of individuals that may not be comfortable
engaging in the same activities. Our scenarios are designed with this
in mind.
